Description
Haut-Rian was founded by a husband and wife who meet managing vineyards in Australia. She is from Alsace, he from Champagne. They started in 1988 with 35 hectares west of town Cadillac and have since increased to 80 ha. Farming is certified HVE, Terra Vitis, and Bee Friendly, while organic certification is expected for the 2025 vintage. This is a classic, easy going wine. 90% Merlot, 10% Cab. Fruity, Clean, Fresh. Sweet core of fruit on the mid-palate. clean finish.
