Description
Located just five miles from the Pacific Ocean and at 550 feet above sea level. This site remains one of the most sought-after vineyards on the Western Sonoma Coast. Composed of 43.6 planted acres planted in 2005 on Goldridge fine sandy loam soil. 15% whole cluster inclusion. Indigenous yeast fermentation. 5-day cold soak, 17-day maceration. Gentle punchdowns. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aged 15 months in French oak barrels; about 30% new. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
