The 2016 Zinfandel contains 6% Petite Sirah. Medium garnet-purple colored, it gives up preserved plums, raspberry pie and Black Forest cake with baking spices, underbrush and potpourri in the background. The palate is full-bodied, plush and juicy with loads of earth and spice layers on the finish.

91 WE 2019

This richly layered berry-and-chocolate parfait of a wine exudes blackberries, black plums and milk chocolate on a creamy, smooth texture. A full body, soft tannins and a mouthcoating richness give it plenty of personality.

A total charmer, the 2018 Zinfandel has plenty of plum and raspberry fruits as well as classic Zinfandel cigar wrapper, spice, and cedary incense-like nuances. Nicely textured, medium to full-bodied, and balanced, it's an outstanding Zinfandel to enjoy over the coming 4-6 years.
