WA
2016
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Mount Veeder aged for 22 months in 75% new French oak. No 2017 vintage of this wine will be made. Deep garnet-purple colored, it delivers a very serious nose of baked plums, crème de cassis, dried mulberries and dark chocolate with nuances of tapenade, chargrill, licorice and menthol with a waft of tree bark. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is built like a brick house with a solid structure of firm, grainy tannins and oodles of freshness supporting the taut, muscular black fruit, finishing on a provocative mineral note. 3,000 cases produced.

A very soft and friendly red with plum and blackberry character. Medium body with medium firm tannins and a delicious finish.

Aromas of blackcurrants, cedar and tile follow through to a medium body with a juicy, round and creamy mouth-feel. Delicious finish. Mostly cabernet sauvignon, with about a quarter malbec and a touch of petit verdot. Drink now.
Mount Veeder Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is no mean addition to the renowned AVA's legacy. Though its ruby color catches the eye, it’s the complex flavor (flaunting notes of berry, chocolate and peppercorn) that seals this Cab Sauv’s fate as a delectable dinnertime accompaniment. This 14.5% ABV wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc grapes.
