A floral and bright red with brambleberry character. Cedar, too. Medium body with very fine tannins that are polished and beautiful. Long and refined. So delicious. A complete and balanced Tuscan red. A blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, sangiovese, syrah and petit verdot. Drink now.

Villa Antinori of the Antinori family was first created in 1928. Roast meat and coconut provide complexity to a rich nose of dark fruits. Great concentration of fresh but ripe cherry and mulberry, spiced by liquorice and dark coffee. Ageing in French, Hungarian and American oak provides a pleasantly chewy texture, poised with elegant acids. Warm coconut and dark spices on the long finish. A treat at an affordable price.

Aromas of currants, black cherries and bark. Chocolate, too. Full-bodied with fine, creamy tannins. Really polished texture. Walnut and light hazelnut undertones. Well done for the vintage. Drink or hold.
