Description
Ghost Block Vineyard is one of Napa Valley’s most distinctive sites, resting
along the eastern slope of Yountville Hill and adjacent to the historic
George C. Yount Pioneer Cemetery. Millions of years ago, a dramatic shift
in the Vaca Mountains exposed layers of ancient volcanic rock, creating the
foundation for this remarkable vineyard. The east-facing vines enjoy gentle
morning and afternoon sun, balanced by cool evening breezes and early fog
from San Pablo Bay. This combination allows the fruit to ripen slowly and
evenly, developing both concentration and freshness. Farmed organically
by our family for generations, Ghost Block Vineyard produces Cabernet
Sauvignon with depth, elegance, and a true expression of its storied land.
