Description
James May wanted to make a gin that evoked ‘the smell of rain on hot pavement in downtown London.’ That distinctive scent that hangs in the air, just as those first drops of rain hit the ground on a summer day is called ‘petrichor’ - one of the key components of which is also present in beetroot. We’ve combined beetroot with lovage, bay, orange, and ginger to create light notes alongside earthy tones that give an umami quality to the gin. It may not be raining where you live, but this pours beautifully.
