Description
The Coup de Foudre Pinot Noir comes from our Sonoma Coast vineyard situated at 2,000 feet elevation overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The coastal fog keeps the fruit cool in the mornings and the ridgeline’s afternoon sun exposure allows for ample ripening. This was a historically small vintage for the site, but it offered record hang times and slow maturation. A gorgeous ruby red color with subtle strawberry and nuanced forest floor notes on the palate paired with well-balanced acidity make this a very refined Pinot for California. Only 3 barrels produced.
